Anyway to improve shutdown time?

Have tried Nebula on LinuxMint Cinnamon and presently on KDE Neon (both latest versions) and it takes approximately 8 seconds for Thunderbird to shutdown.

Have two email accounts setup, both IMAP (GMail and GMX).
