When I try to do a search, I get (for example): http://search.sharedbuffer.com/s?q=ramadan+2024+dates&_pg=384D38AB-BE20-58F5-9DEF-070C21AEF0E3

What gives? How can I fix? Thanks

Is this a search engine you installed yourself ? See:

You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
