I have had thunderbird for years and donated. I had a password request in late 2022 which failed so my last inbox item was11/Oct 2022. I would very much like to recover my system for Geoffrey@dunard.uk

so what error message do you see when Thunderbird attempts to retreive mail?

Do you also see that in the following tests?

  1. Does Thunderbird work as expected in Thunderbird troubleshooting mode?
  2. Does Thunderbird work as expected with your OS started in safe mode with Networking. Instructions for each operating system: Windows 10/11, Windows 8, Windows 7, OSX
