Suddenly my ISP is HACKING into my browsers to give me "notifications" without my permission (see image), ignoring Firefox settings and UBlock Origin add-on. They appear above whatever website I'm loading. The company has my email address if they need to notifiy me of anything, so this just seems like a giant middle finger - a way to remind me of their absolute control over my computer. It's totally creepy. Is there any way to block them?

Try changing secure DNS over HTTPS (DoH) to "Max Protection".

Many thanks to you both. I will definitely try these suggestions, but I'll have to wait until the next intrusion so I can tell whether it works or not.
