Copy a contact list to Thunderbird on another device
I need to copy a contact list from one device to another. I don't need to copy the whole address book, or any messages. I'm unable to find any way to do anything other copy the entire profile.

Highlight the contact list in addressbook and there are three dots to the right. That is a dropdown menu and one option is to export it.
Many thanks for this. When importing the contact list into another device, the contacts appear to simply go into the main address book, mixed in with the existing contacts. Is there a way to have them go into the equivalent contact list?
use tools>import>import from a file and then select addressbook and then select the desired addressbook
