Firefox Browser vanishes "off screen"!

Firefox browser windows seem to be invisible despite still running. I HAVE TO CHANGE WINDOWS 7 Screen resolution to minimum and the windows reappear; THEN then I can change back to maximum resolution and all is well - UNTIL THE NEXT TIME. IT APPEARS TO ME that the screen offset coordinates are somehow becoming corrupted. How to fix please? Windows Build 7601 SP 1 - if that helps.

Try deleting the xulstore.json file.

There's a whole bunch of them - admittedly some in "OldFirefoxData" folders which I haven't deleted. Latest two in default-release & in default-releaseBLANK (!!). . Clearly this deals with offsets so I live in hope; I've currently renamed the default-release version.... Thanks again - I'll report backon progress. "larch"
