Hello,

I have created an HTML signature for my account which is always inserted. So far so good. However, each time the character -- is also inserted, which according to the support pages HTML signature is obviously even intentional. [[Signatures|https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/signaturen#w_html-signaturen]]

For me the question is, how do I make it disappear? Does anyone have a tip for this?

Thanks in advance

Well, the -- characters do serve a purpose, but can be removed if you go to config editor (settings>general) and look for mail.identity.default.suppress_signature_separator; the default is false. toggle it to true and save.
