On downloading recent versions, I found that the layout for the toolbar is not synchronized along with other data. Previously, all my add-on icons were synchronized and put in the right place. Now they are all crammed into the "puzzle piece" icon8 and the general layout is not preserved.

I have tested with both Microsoft store version and the normal installation from your website.

If you Sync extension then you only Sync their URL and the extensions get installed on the other device to make them work properly. With the switch to the Extensions button for managing extensions, their buttons no longer appear by default on the toolbar and you need to click them in the Fx109ExtensionsButton drop down and use "Pin to Toolbar".

Thank you cor-el for the quick reply. I know about "Pin to Toolbar" on clicking on any extension. I only reported this here because, previously, the layout was synchronized across all my devices. Now, it isn't.

If that is not a regression bug then I am ok. I can pin icons manually and re-arrange them as appropriate.

The toolbar customization is still stored in browser.uiCustomization.state (about:config), but extensions are now moved to the unified-extensions-area section in this pref and of course have their unique UUID as saved in extensions.webextensions.uuids and each time you install an extension it will get a different UUID.
