I can't find Options or Preferences in 102.8; how do I set default the browser?
I can't find Options or Preferences under File, Edit, or Tools 102.8; where do I set default the browser?
Chosen solution
It checks for email client, not browser.
Maybe we have different Tbird versions.
Anyway, issue solved.
Thanks

You set that in the browser, not in Thunderbird.
That seems like a Catch 22.
Last time I did it was set in Thunderbird, i.e. open links in <browser>
Turns out it's now done in Windows (11).
Thanks
Each product, such as email or browser, has the option within itself. You can also do that from windows. This is not new. When you click a link in Thunderbird, it invokes the default browser. When you click a mailto link in a browser, it invokes the default email client.

Now that you mention it, I'd still like to know how to do that, and where Options and Preferences are.
settings>general under 'System Integration'
I had already looked there, and just looked again, but only see how to set the default search engine, not browser.
Doesn't matter now I guess.
Thanks, David
Modified
It's below that, one line below. System Integration. Below that, sentence beginning with 'always check to see if Thunderbird is default....' and a box to the right 'check now'
That's for the mail client, not the browser
It's the same as email client. Settings>general. I just checked firefox and edge. Maybe if you tell me what you're trying to do, I can give better assistance.
