Someone send me an email with EXCEL attachment but the files I received using Thundermail mail client the attachments becomes symbols and cannot be opened. (see attached image)

The same email was also cc copy to my hotmail account and I can see the attachment from my hotmail which is an EXCEL file and I can open it and use it as normal.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Other files like PDF, JPEG are no problem.

This problem only happen in one of the people who send me the Excel file, other people who send me Excel I can read and open normally so far.
