To make sure you can fully support HTML5 players used for video, audio and even games make sure you have FFmpeg installed for the codecs as mentioned as you never confirmed. With Youtube you may still be able to play some videos without FFmpeg however the live or recently uploaded videos may not work.

A link to the video would be helpful and English translation for the error message. What version of Firefox? Make sure you have current ffmpegs.

in my opinion there is an incompatibility between firefox and orange pi 5 hardware. when I try chromium browser everything works normally

I would agree because it's not that the browser can't play the video. I would assume you have other computers to verify that.

So will Firefox support video streaming for Orangepi 5?

I often use this browser for various activities. I don't want to change browsers when opening streaming videos on various websites such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc.

I cannot speak on orangepi 5. I would try another OS to see what happens. Good Luck

@Andhika, how did you fix the issue at the end? I have the same problem with Orange Pi 5 + Firefox, the highest resolution I could get it playing is 480p.

What ffmpeg specific packages did you install?
