How do I get my currency in USD with UK Language setting?

I, like every other US American I know, need my week to start on Monday and keep the weekend together (who wants their weekends split into two different weeks?) To do this I've had to select UK English as my language in Firefox and OS. Unfortunately, this also changes currency to pounds sterling. How can I get Monday start with USD? I especially need this on my Android work tablet.
