Receive error message first time I click to open Firefox
I'm running 64 bit Win 11 Pro Version 21H2 OS Build 22000.1219 and Firefox 107.0, and the first time I click to open Firefox, I receive message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". If I clear the error box and click again, Firefox comes up normally. This happens every time I bring up Firefox. It's not a show-stopper, but very annoying.
Thanks for your help Mike Harmon [email removed from public]

Where did you get Firefox from?
Downloaded from mozilla! I've had the same version for several weeks (months?) and have just experienced the problem the past week. Could this be a bad Windows update?
Usually that message means the shortcut is wrong (pointing to the wrong location) or the program is no longer installed.
But you were able to start Firefox somehow?
Could you run some malware scans just in case: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
Could be a problem with your AV security software as more than one program is registered
registeredAntiVirus: Webroot SecureAnywhere;McAfee VirusScan
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.
