Cannot get into proper Firefox account to sync

I had to make a separate account just to post here but last night I was going through a lot of stress with computer issues, and had to semi-reset windows (lost all my programs, still have other files), I wasn't thinking straight and forgot to back up anything for my Firefox account and I have been trying passwords all day and I still cannot get in. It's gotten to the point where the Firefox Accounts login page asks me to give it a code from my email, I give it said code and the passwords still incorrect. If I can give it codes from my email, why can't I log in through my email or anything else?

I cannot reset the password because I would lose hundreds of saved passwords that I had stored in Firefox along with important bookmarks. I need to know if there is any way I can recover my account without losing my data, because I cannot afford to lose it at all.

Sync isn't a backup system for heads up. So what do you mean semi-reset windows? This confusing as to what happened. If you did a restore to last working Windows image then anything after that last image created is gone there is no recovery possible. If the password reset to the original firefox can't be accessed or you don't get that email reset then that is a lost account. Also firefox doesn't store your data online that is done on the computer that had the profile and logins/bookmark that they were created on.
