I use arch Linux on a laptop. For a long time (at least a year, maybe two?), I've had to load a module by hand every single time firefox restarts. I.e., navigate to /usr/lib64/pkcs11/libcoolkeypk11.so and attempt to load it...every time it says "unable to load module," however, it actually does load the module so you can click cancel or OK and then click on the module, which appears in the left-hand panel...then the functionality works. But when firefox is closed, upon restarting I have to repeat the process all over again. I also use Thunderbird for email and it never has this problem. Nor does "chromium" (just FYI). I prefer firefox so this has not deterred me from continuing to use it, but it is a pain and demands a needless waste of time every time the machine reboots or I have to restart firefox. Would be nice if someone finally fixed this silly problem.
