Lost my whole account setup
Hello, I was trying to transfer my Firefox account to a new computer. It turned out I had forgotten my password and couln't find it written down anywehere. I also hadnt had any recovery key set up. I must also have missed the information that my data would be deleted if I set a new password. Here I am now having my account completely reset with all of my login-data and bookmarks that I had had for years lost. It is a very unpleasant situation to lose all of your browser setup all at once for something as simple as a password. I write to You to ask if anything could still be done to recover my previous setup. If not, then I would like this message to be considered as a customer complaint, since after all this data protection efforts, my data didn't get proteted but lost forever.
A separate issue I would like to write to you about is about a Russian search engine which had hacked the Firefox browser on my previous computer and kept setting itsself as my default search engine. I have my suspicions that it had managed to hack my operating system as well, since not long after I had to change my whole computer. All of this is raising concerns whether the Firefox Browser is as secure as I had thought.
Thank you in advance. With kind regards
Yavor K

Lost passwords will stop access to firefox account and if you forget or can't access the email registered to the primary account then that is also a Lost account and there's nothing more that can be done here.
