Windows 11 update erased bookmarks/saved passwords
Hey, I with through different ways to try and recover my bookmarks and saved passwords after my pc went through a forced update to the new windows OS. I checked other E-mails to see if I may have used the wrong one to login to Firefox, though I only have one. Even check in about:profiles. I can't find any file in my Mozilla folder to try and restore or import bookmarks. I am at a loss and would appreciate any help in this before I start trudging through trying to get my bookmarks back one by one.

Sorry to hear about this problem. Were logins the only data lost, you still had your bookmarks, etc? Or did you restore data using Sync and didn't get logins back?
Some major Windows updates may remove your data to a temporary folder named
C:\Windows.old
If you find that folder:
Set Windows to show hidden files and folders:
Then explore that folder up to this point (if it exists):
C:\Windows.old\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
If you find recent data there, please pause and we can suggest how to resurrect your saved files.
