Firefox isn't saying there is a problem with a site. Firefox is saying that it cannot verify that the server responding to the request actually is the real site -- rather than an impostor or intermediary.

Have you restarted your computer since you installed Firefox? Many popular security products intercept your browsing and may only set up Firefox to work with their fake site certificates at startup.

If you already tried that:

Could you click the "Zaawansowane" button and see whether there is a more technical explanation there. Often there will be a SEC_ERROR_SOMETHING code. This article has information for many of those codes:

How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites

Sometimes users need to instruct Firefox to ignore system-level proxy server settings. Here's how to test that (sorry, I don't have the translations):

Open the Settings page using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Settings (previously "Options")
  • type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter to load it

In the very tiny search box at the top of the page, type proxy and Firefox should filter to the "Network Settings" section.

Click the Settings button, select "No Proxy" near the top of the dialog, and click OK near the bottom of the dialog.

Any difference?

Thank you for the cert:

Issuer CN = DigiCert Global Root G1A

Setting "No Proxy" usually works around the problem when users are getting this fake certificate.
