Hi, I can't find a feature that allows me to inform senders that I am away from my desk for a set period of time. Is such a feature available? Thanks.

No, but I did find these two URLs of possible interest:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/vacation-response https://www.ionos.com/digitalguide/e-mail/technical-matters/thunderbird-out-of-office/
Apparently, Thunderbird does not have an "away from my desk"response feature. Heyhoe...
The best method is to set it up via the webmail account.
Why ? Well yes you could create a template and then create filter which basics says, if TO,Cc or Bcc is my email address then 'Reply with Template' and specifiy the email template you created which says 'Not in office'.
But then you would have to leave the computer switched on and logged on to your User Account running 24/7 and Thunderbird running as well. You would have to prevent computer from sleeping and hibernating. This is not exactly very safe and may not be desirable.
So whilst it is possible, it is much better to let the server deal with it because they do run 24/7 and it is much more secure. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it.
