I am unable to send email. The options for SMTP.office365.com do NOT include Oauth2. I am using Thunderbird 102.3.1 (64-bit) with POP3 access (which works just fine). I tried to prepare for the October 1st change but Thunderbird does not support what is necessary. HELP. [I tried downloading an old version of Thunderbird but that did not work because I lost 10+ years of categorized emails and had to restore it.]

Is it possible that you need an APP password? Office365 isn't a specialty of mine, but this URL may help: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/using-app-passwords-with-apps-that-don-t-support-two-step-verification-5896ed9b-4263-e681-128a-a6f2979a7944
