Firefox Updates Continue to Crash on Closing

All recent updates (i.e., Firefox 102, Firefox 103 and Firefox 104) crash every time that the browser is closed. The browser appears to continue running and then a crash report box appears on the screen. The only way to prevent this is to use Task Manager and manually stop Firefox.

I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad T450s laptop computer running Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), version 21H2, with an Intel i7-5600 CPU processor.
