I just need to do a simple backup or Thunderbird from one computer and put it onto a new computer. I used to be able to us MozBackup, but it is no longer available. Why is there no simple way to backup Thunderbird? Thanks Dave

on old PC, do this: - click help>moretroubleshootinginformation - scroll down to profiles. click 'about:profiles' - that will show you the exact name and location of your profile. - exit TB (this is important) - copy that profile to a USB stick.

On new PC: - install TB 102 - start TB, click home tab, and then click the 'import' button and import the profile from USB stick. - you're done.
