Dear All,

Few years ago I switched to beta version (must admit that it was accidentally, and cannot recall exactly why I did this) and since I've been having regularly issues with Thunderbird (although I love it and been using for more than 15 years).

The latest one happened just today, when I updated to beta102 - and the issue is that I cannot download my emails ... :-( Other accounts seem to work just fine, but this one uses POP Mail Server. How can I fix this?

Many many thanks !!

Alex

Hi again, In fact, to be more specific - there is no error message or whatsoever, Thunderbird seems to get stuck in trying to contact the Host server, like in the attached picture ... Any idea how to solve this? Thanks, Alex

Hi Mat, • host - what do you mean by this? if email server host, then I think it is outlook.office365.com • no antiviurs, I'm on MacOS Monterey 12.4; • what details for the account settings do you need? in short - Server Type: POP Mail Server; Server Name - office365, Port 995 Pls let me know if you required further info or details! Thanks, Alex

New update :

so I just changed the email password (on the server), launched Thunderbird, but same story when trying to "Get Messages" --> Local Folders: Host contacted, sending login information ... but not asking me the new password ...

I guess someone else should be also using Thunderbird - POP - office365 combination, and no one encountered this problem so far?

Thanks,

Alex

Hi All,

Mistery solved, problem not - so I installed on a new Mac the latest 102.0b5 version, and tried to setup an POP3 account, and not working ... so has to be a problem with 102.0b4/5 version ...

Will now either wait for a new update, or switch to release version ...

Thanks anyway,

Alex
