how many tabs and/or how man instances?
I'm stuck at ver 88. Starting with 89 I seem to be limited to around 150 total tabs across all open windows (even if only one is open). Total lockup of the desktop (KDE in linux) It hadn't been a problem, I just shut off auto update.
Now websites are whining about me running an older browser and some are even refusing to let me in. So I thought ok, I'll run multiple instances and keep the total number of tabs low. 5 instances work fine, the 6th starts to act a bit flaky, 7+ is a total lockup of the desktop (KDE in linux).
Even if I can manage to kill the last instance, its corpse remains on screen.
So I'm back to ver 88 with no solution. Is there a way around these limits? When I'm doing development I often have more than 600 tabs open. Eventually some will get closed, but I can't very well get much done if the browser is just going to lock everything up.

I began to have RAM issues with version 91. Others have RAM issues with 4 times the RAM that I have. I occasionally get high CPU usage as well, probably because of the RAM problem. I don't know whether anyone actually knows what the problem(s) is (are). The article linked below may be a starting point. I have added a blank space to the other link.
