I cannot find the button or link to OPTIONS in T Bird. Previous responses to similar posts say to use the alt button do not work. Does it still exist? If so how do I access Options? Thanks.

re : Previous responses to similar posts say to use the alt button do not work. You use the 'Alt' key to force a view of the top 'Menu Bar' toolbar (File, Edit, View etc) if it is not visible, so that you can then set it up to stay visible via 'View' > 'Toolbars' > select 'Menu Bar'

'Options' got renamed to 'Preferences'

How to access: If using the 'Menu Bar' toolbar: 'Tools' > 'Preferences' If using the 'Mail Toolbar' toolbar: 'menu app icon' (3 lines) > 'Preferences'
