Can't sync from OSX 10.14 to new OSX 12.2.1 computer
Among the many combinations I've tried: login on old computer, click "sync now" (to push most recent version of everything I want), launch FF on new computer, sign in, click "sync now". Nothing visibly changes on the new machine (no new tabs open), but I can see "recent bookmarks", what either most or all of the stored bookmarks, and what appears to be most but not all of the browsing history. What's needed to restore tabs?
This directory is empty: Index of file:///Users/buggy/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/6vc9xd36.default-release/weave/logs/
FF version 97.0 on both machines.
I also want to make sure I understand this process. I have dozens of tabs and thousands of bookmarks on the old machine (longtime fan, first time caller). When I launch FF for the first time on the new machine, login, and click "sync now", what is getting written to the server? The SUM of the tabs on the new machine (a half dozen "why doesn't sync work" windows) and the old machine, OR just the tabs on the new machine, as it is the most recently logged in and sync'd?
Thank you for any help you can offer.
