All the on-line "Help" talks about something that is not in Thunderbird
All I want to do is change my Thunderbird password.
Doing a www search for that topic = every site's information I've found tells one to 1) click on drop-down TOOLS and then OPTIONS (enroute to changing the password), or 2) pull-down MENU and then click on OPTIONS (same story . . . )
Well, there's only one itty-bitty problem: There is NO "OPTIONS" option in at either location.
OK.
So where's the magic? Can only conclude that other people are seeing things I'm not permitted to see . . .
Thank you.

Options are now Preferences in TB 91: Preferences/Privacy & Security, Saved Passwords.
Thank you: However, your response makes no sense, seeing that I am required to enter a password when accessing Thunderbird emails, but "Preferences/Privacy & Security, Saved Passwords" shows NO password(s) existing. So, please do tell, how is one supposed to change a required password that is non-existent at the location you identify?
If Saved Passwords is empty, you must be entering the password manually on each connection, instead of checking the box in the password prompt to store it in Saved Passwords. Or, maybe you are using a password manager that is part of some antivirus apps. If passwords aren't stored anywhere, change the password with your mail provider, then enter it when asked at the next connection.

Got your #2 response. Thank you. Will try following that next time I'm coming on-line.
