1. Go to <strong>☰</strong>-&gt;<strong>Bookmarks</strong>-&gt;<strong>Manage Bookmarks</strong>. Or use hotkey <strong>Ctrl</strong>+<strong>Shift</strong>+<strong>O</strong>.
2. Check under <strong>Bookmarks Menu</strong> and <strong>Other Bookmarks</strong> to see if your bookmarks are there.
3. You can drag these folders to your <strong>Bookmarks Bar</strong> folder to see them.
</p><p>To find if any bookmarks are still recoverable:
1. Type in <strong>about:support</strong> in the address bar and select <strong>Open Folder</strong> under <strong>Profile Folder</strong> (not <strong>Update Folder</strong>!).
2. There should be a folder named <strong>bookmarksbackups</strong>. Open it and find the file modified the most recently.
3. Use a Firefox bookmarks extractor like <a href="https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/bookbackreader.html" rel="nofollow">https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/bookbackreader.html</a> to extract to an HTML file.
4. Open the HTML file in a web browser and check if your bookmarks are there. If so, then you can <a href="/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-html-file" rel="nofollow">re-import them</a>. Otherwise, try Step 3 again with a the next most recent file in Step 2.
5. Note that the folders may be in a different location now. If so, Follow the "To find if your bookmarks are in another location:" at the beginning of this post.
