Cant Play AmazonPrime videos on my mac desktop (its an admittedly old desktop, cant afford a new one just yet. using Firefox 78.15.0esr (64-bit).

Today, when i tried to watch a videos on Amazon Prime, im getting messages that say "WidevineCdm plugin has crashed" when i try to play.

Is it due to discontinued Flash? Are there any solutions??

thanks in advance!

No, this is about Winevine no longer supporting your Mac OS X 10.9 operating system.

Unfortunately, Widevine 4.10.2209.1/4.10.2252.0 no longer supports macOS 10.9 and 10.10 (minimum is 10.11). See:

Note: The current version of Google Widevine is no longer compatible with older macOS versions such as OS X 10.9 and 10.10. Only macOS versions 10.11 and above are supported.
