Anyone know how to fix this? It used to be all white, now the bottom portion is black, and it's annoying. Thanks

Please post the image into the forum so we can see the problem. It's a pain trying to see things posted elsewhere as they have a habit of disappearing and it means I'm jumping all over the place wasting time.

If you have an image showing problem, use the 'Add Images' in this forum - click on 'Browse', select the image and click on Open.

As a guess - if seeing a dark bar then I'm assuming you are using a lighter coloured theme Are you using a non default theme ? Perhaps you downloaded a theme and the author of that theme has not made the theme compatible ? You would need to disable that theme and choose the Thunderbird default Light theme to see whether the black bar is removed.

If you discover the theme was something you downloaded then perhaps it would be helpful to let the author know about the issue.

I posted the imgur link, because for whatever reason I cannot upload the pic via the browse button. It just sits there with the little loading circle. Tried two different browsers. I chose imgur, because I thought they were regarded as safe to click on. As far as themes go, it doesn't seem to matter what theme. Right now I am on stock. I have tried a fresh install as well.

Try help > troubleshoot mode?

I wonder if being on Windows 11 has anything to do with it?

Reverting back to 91.3.0 fixes it. Guess I'll just stop Thunderbird from updating

Try disabling the hardware acceleration in preferences. often these issues come from incompatible video drivers and windows 11 is probably full of them. There is not much else new in it.

Thank you for responding. Oddly enough I tried that already.
