DISCLAIMER: THIS HAS BEEN SOLVED! Dear Firefox Team, I have installed Firefox-ESR on my HP Chromebook 11, using linux. I saw it going slow so I searched up stuff. I went to "whatsmybrowser.org", saying Firefox 78. I saw that on an article there is 91 and 95. It is 11/3/21, and no update is showing up which a help article said "On 11/2/21, users can update to Firefox-ESR version 91." I couldn't update, so I am now asking for help. Its also going VERY SLOW which I can barely run scratch, google, and even the homepage. Please give me answers so I can fix the problem. Thanks, cogithedog.

Are you using Firefox from the Mozilla server because if you use Firefox from the repositories then updating Firefox is controlled by Linux software management and you need to wait until they have the new 91.3.0 ESR version.

If you use an older Linux version that has reached EOL then you may not be able to update Firefox.

Aren't you able to download the Firefox 91.3.0 version from this webpage?

Verify that you meet the System Requirements (GTK+ and GLib) for the current Firefox release.

UPDATE: I tried to update using those files, but nothing would work. If there are any more possible ways, that would be helpful. Thanks, this is a display name..

Ive downloaded the file twice, nothing works. I do have the system requirements, but the file won't let me do anything. It just does nothing. It's probably because I'm using Linux software management I believe.
