I just updated firefox and when I do to websites it say I am using outdated browser

Do you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting" if you check ‘’’Resist Fingerprinting’’’ on the ‘’’about:config’’’ page as this affects the user agent?

Your troubleshooting information didn't include the Firefox user agent. It is possible that you participate in an experiment to check for issues when Firefox reaches the 100.0 version (i.e. the version changes from two to three digits).

Could you please attach your troubleshooting information from the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page ?
