Outdated Reminder Will Not Go Away
I recently wiped my computer clean and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro, and then installed a number of applications, including Thunderbird 91.2.0 64-bit. Thunderbird, for reasons I cannot determine, keeps popping up the notification in the attached image, which is way out of date. Clicking on the various buttons to get rid of it has no effect. The only thing that produces an action is the "X" box in the top right corner, which kills the pop-up window, but only temporarily. After a short time it returns.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. Nothing changed.
How can I get rid of this annoying and superfluous popup?

Did you add a network calendar with one of the add-ons? Did you reuse a profile from the previous setup?
I re-entered the information for all of my email accounts. Given that I wiped the drive clean, I can't imagine any files were left from before that Thunderbird would find. The previous Thunderbird was an older version, and the add-on I was using to connect Google Calendar to that one does not work with the new one. I added "Provider for Google Calendar" which showed my Google calendar one time, but I have not been able to find and display it since. Several reviews on the add-on's website state that it has been broken since the last Thunderbird update. However, a few say it is working. I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones. Once I removed the add-on, the popup stopped appearing. I can access Google Calendar in other ways, of course. I've just been used to having it available through Thunderbird. Oh, well...
File/New/Calendar... On the Network... enter your gmail address... the calendar is autodetected.
