Today (10/11/2021) I attempted to log into my PNC bank website and was presented with an error which stated "Please try using another internet browser. If you still receive this message, please call the Customer Care Center at 1-800-xxx-xxxx and reference code: 18.e00c045.1633977763.15e95b74". I then did the following;

  • History > Clear Recent History > I then check everything and placed a check mark in all boxes to clear all items.

I then closed out my browser session and restarted my PC.

All was working about 3 days ago when I logged in using my existing FIREFOX browser which was running the same ver. 93.0 (64Bit). I then attempted to log in to the site again - https://www.pnc.com/en/personal-banking.html and received the same error message.

I took the advice of the error message and used Microsoft Edge to attempt to log in and WAS successful. This means I was typing my username and password in correctly.

I then called the 800 number for PNC website support and they had indicated that they did a website update this weekend.

Question is this. If the fact that PNC did a website update and FIREFOX came out with ver93.0 recently have anything to do with my not being able to utilize FIREFOX to access my PNC Bank Account. I have actually attempted to use both PNC logon pages and neither works. https://www.pnc.com/en/personal-banking.html < Does Not work> https://www.onlinebanking.pnc.com/alservlet/LogoutServlet <Does Not work>

Can anyone provide suggestions and/or does anyone know how to report a suspected bug in 93.0 that prevent PNC access?

Thank You, Butch
