I am getting frequent crashs and many a times my pages will become unreadable, again automatically text changes to normal format after sometime. I am attaching screenshots.

Please also help me that why firefox tabs suddenly crashes. I am facing this issue only in mozilla firefox, all other browsers like chrome, IE and softwares are working smoothly.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

[v56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Under fonts and colors, press the Advanced button. Scroll to the bottom, turn on Allow Web Sites To Choose Their Own.

Make sure you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the OS settings.

  • We have seen reports that this can be caused by a problem with fonts like Roboto or Helvetica that

you have installed locally and that might be corrupted or are missing some variants. Also, make sure you allow pages to choose their own fonts and that you do not block remote (downloadable) fonts.

  • If you use uBlock Origin make sure not to "block remote fonts".

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020 Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/ in order to check the integrity of your RAM?

You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.


Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ? Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings

But why it is effecting only mozilla firefox browser. As in other chrome or other browsers, I am not facing this issue even if i open more than 10 tabs in chrome.

But during web development I am more comfortable in mozilla firefox, so I want to use mozilla.

Please help me to solve this issue.

In case it happened due to out of memory error, then still HOW FONTS in mozilla browser ONLY GETS blurred as per my initial screenshot and no other applications are effected?

I also totally un installed firefox and installed it again but issue still there, for few minutes it is working but after 15-20 mins, font gets blurred. RAM on my pc is 8 GB and I have SSD drive. Earlier a days I know in case there was any issue regarding memory then browser just stop responding, but this type of issue never happens. How to get rid of this. please help.

For the font issue you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make changes effective.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

Hi I checked, My memory leaks due to mozilla firefox only. FYI, I have 500 SSD and 8 GB RAM, and when mozilla is closed than my system is working smoothly with this configuration. But As soon as I am opening mozilla firefox my system's programs starts facing latency.

Today i closed all programs and removed all startup programs too, and opened task manager and more than 80% memory is free, after that I just opened mozilla firefox only, and even never opened any tab or url in mozilla, just opened mozilla browser and after that it shows in my task manager that There are multiple programs of mozilla firefox showing in task manager, how it is happening when i never open multiple windows. Let me show you current screenshot so you can also check.

I used following solution but no help: 1. I closed all mozilla firefox programs from task manager, and tried to open mozilla again but still same issue. 2. I uninstalled mozilla firefox, remove all Appdata and any cache files for mozilla by using(https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-do-i-reinstall-mozilla-firefox) and tried to install it again but still same issue.

I would like to add further, Can you please Analyze your worldwide usage data, are users for Mozilla reducing or increasing ? If these types of issues happened in your favorite browser then user must have to change to some other good browser and with time, he/she will left mozilla completely and never come back. It is big issue. Please analyze
