Firefox 93.1.0 android started crashing
Hi, Firefox 93.1.0 android has started repeatedly crashing on my Samsung A12. Never had problem before. Loads of crash reports.
Chosen solution
Okay
If you could remove the Startpage engine from your list (three dots, delete).
Add it again, but in the "Search string to use" field, enter (very carefully) https://www.startpage.com/sp/search?q=%s
Does this work?

Hi
If you enter about:crashes in the address bar and select a recent Socorro link, please can you reply with the address of the page that then opens.
Please can you also confirm what level of enhanced tracking protection you have set and whether you have any add-ons installed. What you were doing when app crashed would also help.
This will help us to look into this for you.

Standard level of enhanced tracking
I use No Script, Privacy Badger and U block origin and HTTPS Everywhere
Had just done a search with Start Page
Can you try without the add-ons installed?
Do I need to uninstall or will disabling do? Have disabled the 3 ad blockers.
Update: still crashing. Came across this Reddit post from someone experiencing similar problem. It might be an issue with Startpage search?
Modified
Just thought I had updated my initial response but seems to have disappeared anyway...
I disabled the three ad blocker add ons but still crashing. Do I actually need to uninstall them?
Someone posted on Reddit about similar problem . might be an issue to do with Startpage searches?
Do you have Startpage set as the default search engine?
If so, what was the search string you used to add it to Firefox for Android?
I did have Startpage as my default search engine as the crashes did seem to happen when using it. I have now changed to DuckDuck go and no crashes.
Not sure what a search string is? Probably just used search setting? I have a list of search engines there.
