Thunderbird keeps sending message "server down, or disconnected, or network problem"
I have been trying to get the problem fixed for quite some time. So far, IF I even get an answer, it has not worked. This is almost constant, now, each time I try to open any email file, but seems to be worse when I try to open trash.

While you have issues, they are most likely not related to Thunderbird other than as the messenger, but asking the same question here again is not going to get it to clear up.
