Hello there john Williams. We have read your message. We try to help you.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-thunderbird-windows Oke it seems that you need to import the stuff that you want to import to your just installed account from Thunderbird.

How old is that version of your old account? Are these profile maps still on your ssd from your old pc? Then you can use these to transfer.

You can just install and run the latest version of Thunderbird on your new pc. https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/releases/

I will send you a form to read about how to move your old stuff to a new pc. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/moving-thunderbird-data-to-a-new-computer

Do you have a new Mac or Windows pc? Use a good antivirus while doing these steps on your pc.

You can use tools for the question you have asked. Also add- ons are available by thunderbird. This might be a good add on for it if you like to use this on Thunderbird. I hope you can solve your question with this one.

https://addons.thunderbird.net/nl/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools-ng/ This one works with up to 78.0 version

Or you just can copy the profile maps from your old hd or ssd into Thunderbird. Mostly discribbed in the forms I have send you. it s just the simplest way to do that.
