When I turn on the Windows 10 desktop computer first thing in the morning, or whenever I turn it on after it's been off, it takes several minutes to connect with Google, Yahoo, Bing. This has been happening for about three weeks. I've deleted History and cleared the cache but it doesn't prevent the same thing from happening. What else should I do?

When any computer starts up, dozens of system programs are loading. This causes a 'bottle neck' until everything is loaded and running properly.

Other programs called by you only add to the 'bottle neck.' You will have to be patient until your system is ready.

One thing you can try is; When you leave the computer, try using 'Sleep' mode.

Hello Fred,

Thank you for responding to my question. I have been patient while the webpage loads but I realize that it takes two minutes to load Google or Yahoo whereas, prior to two or three weeks ago, loading was almost instantaneous. I appreciate what you wrote me but I'm looking for a better resolution. Collis
