bold textWill VPN enable me to subscribe to a French streaming channel, and display films from that channel on the TV using a Roku stick?

Chosen solution

Hi there,

thank you for posting on the forum!

Mozilla VPN is not compatible with any smart tv´s, routers or gaming consoles at the moment. You can install it on the following devices: - Windows 10 (64-bit only) - macOS (version 10.14 and up) - Android (version 8 and up) - iOS (version 12.0 and up) - Linux versions: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) Ubuntu 21.04 (Hirsute Hippo)

Unfortunately, some websites, streaming services and government sites disallow usage of VPN and will block access if they detect you’re using one. There’s no current workaround for this as it’s a decision made on their end of things, not ours. Some users have reported that changing the server location from the drop-down list also fixed the issue for certain websites, so you can give this a try. But we can´t guarantee that certain streaming services will be compatible.

if you want to give it a try and see how it works you can make use of our test period. We offer 30-day money-back guarantee, instead of a free trial, so payment is required upon signup. However, if you decide that the VPN isn’t for you, let us know within 30 days and we’d be happy to issue you a refund. Note, this will also immediately cancel your subscription.
