Over night I can suddenly no longer send emails from any of my 3 accounts. Can receive on all three. Error simply says email cannot be sent. HELP

At first the error message was long and complicated but the word spam occurred, now it simply says "sending of message failed". I can sent emails through Webmail

Based on that I will guess your provider is outlook/hotamail/msn /whatever Microsoft is calling it this week.

I'm having a similar problem - I've just updated to Thunderbird 91 and now I can't send emails. I press the "send" button and nothing happens. It works OK in Troubleshoot mode, though. Can anyone help?

I encountered this [pressing "Send" has no effect, no error message] too. For some reason this hit me on MS Windows but not on a Mac. The solution was to add a spelling dictionary! No matter what, no matter if you ever use it, but there just has to be one installed.

imstalled thunderbird 91. Now can't send Email fro Verizon, yahoo. and gmail addresses. Turned off virus and firewall to no avail. Use McAfee and windows defender. I tried to find config editor but in 91 the menu item seems to have disappeared. Was trying to see if there TSL security mismatch per some suggestions. When try to send email sometimes the to and subject lines are outlined in green. Thunderbird is very slow in opening emails.

The portals for these addresses work. Thunderbird 91 does receive email. HELP

Tried uninstalling thunderbird 91, restarted the computer and reinstalled thunderbird, Noe get server timed out messages for verizob, yahoo, and gmail. Also when using yhe email configuring tool get incoming server already exists messages, Also get outgoing server already exists messages. Also turned off virus program and firewall programs, McAfee and Windows Defender, when reinstalled Thunderbird, I am at my wits end. Have already told my wife who uses Thunderbire, do NOT update,

If anyone has other suggestions, i'd appreciate the help.
