Firefox clipping and distorting media from SoundCloud sampling in background...

Hi Firefox, An outsider called Seburo closed a very important thread, fooling around about where to find help doing nothing to fix the issue. I am adressing to the ones who can send this issue to Firefox (seems it closed the ways to reach for some users or issues and that's such a shame for such a corporation!) please send this below to the ones who can upgrade at least the nightly version.

Take note that it doesn't matter if its with addons or not, nor beta/nighly versions. It matters only this site (SoundCLoud) while switching windows or turning off the screen (Android 11). Also it doesn't allow activation of third party equalizer apps, that on other sites like online radios or YT are woking! Same problem on other/older Xperia or Android 11 devices! Only problem in Firefox (needed/used most because of addons!)...

As I explained in your earlier thread, what you are experiencing (that I am unable to replicate in Firefox for Android) could very well be caused by other apps that you have open on your Android device.

You have expressed that you wish to contact Mozilla developers about this and I have explained how you can do this.

We have explained the likely cause of the issue (given that we cannot replicate it here) and have given you the options if you wish to progress this concern further.

The Nightly version is a pre-Release copy of Firefox for Android and may have unresolved issues that our developers are still working on.

I recommend that you try the Release copy of Firefox for Android available from the Google Play store.

Checked a few minutes ago all versions (Nighly, Beta, Final all do the same). Please sent this issue to those who upgrade them! That is all you have to do! Share the sample and see what it needs to be done for Firefox browser to deliever optimal peformance! Avoid losing time on out-of-issue facts. Thank you!

I sampled some tunes from the Piano list. There definitely were many more static/crinkle sounds when Firefox wasn't on screen. I don't know whether this is due to Firefox reducing bandwidth use, or not requesting enough priority for its audio, or whether it's how my device manages resources in the moment. I wonder whether there is a better way to measure the issue than picking random songs.

Indeed! All songs from SoundCloud have this issue, many other devices too, only in Firefox compared to Chrome. In Chome sometimes it doesnt play at all but when it does it doesn't crinckle, it's smooth! Firefox change its sampling when in background or puts some passive/secondary sampling in motion. Firefox creators should know and fix! Thank you for confirming!

Strange that sound is perfect on YouTube and streaming radio (https://www.kqed.org/) in the background. Would that be because it's a lower bitrate source??

It's not clear to me where the bug should be filed. Firefox for Android development occurs across two Github repositories and Bugzilla... Probably if you create the issue on the browser repository, someone there can figure out where it belongs.

Indeed it's strange! Nor third party equalizers work on this sampling! Now seriously, I am working on artistic projects and I don't have time to search into the fox's nest for connecting randomly with someone I don't know and other endless stories and samples. You are the most capable to show someone who can fix these issues (by proof!) that is why I made so much 'pressure'... You are the ones that can simplify the die-hard-fan's issues/time/work. Firefox it's not only mine but of the entire world, and has the pretending to be the best. For me (my friends) now it's the best on all platforms, but this crap exception (for me/us important)... Please help! Thank you!

I don't know how to file (and also don't have time)... Where easier than here an now to have a proof and to announce an issue?! A sample or something to be of help file-ing this?! Doesn't it annoy you when 3 people at the hospital ask you the same questions again and again? I wonder whether they are checking to see whether my story changes, or whether their co-worker is really doing their job. But I digress.

You can just take a few minutes to fill in the steps needed to reproduce the problem on your device. You don't need to research or look up codes.

Of course, if you do not have a Github account, I can submit something. Then it will be my version of the story, which may or may not be the same as your version of the story.

So: If you don't do something I will connect your/these answers to Firefox Google Play reviews!

Asking when the patient have no option to answer?! Me nor my friends don't know to file. Yes I don't have any of these accounts and it takes forever doing so while I've tried everything (my/our limited part). Where is the third party saing what? Asked for a sample, I did, then what?! Closing by the other one the thread?! Letting the patient to die because the doctor have itchies in the @ss he ever had before?! Again, Firefox is for everybody right?!

I do have any other option knowing the situation of your answers? Please solve this, you have the sample (I can make more if it helps). I am overwhelmed by the situation. Firefox is not a no-name Chinese co.
