When opening Firefox, the "choose a theme pop-up" appears upon each new session.
As the title states.
Also each time I close Firefox, a crash report window pops up.
I have a feeling these two a connected.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

I closed my windows last night to generate the most recent report. It seems like that report is overwritten each session I open and close?

Once that report is submitted, its number will change.
3 of the 6 failed, the others were successful.

Sometimes when FF is closing, not all of it shuts down properly. On Windows, start the Task Manager. (Other systems may have different names and / or commands). Select Processes. Look down the list for Firefox. Right click and select End Task. If this problem keeps coming up, ask for more help.
Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar.
- "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
- Windows: File -> Exit
- Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
- Linux: File -> Quit
I have many pinned and normal tabs open. Email, forums, news sites, banking and other things. I have FF set to reopen the same tabs upon closing and reopening. Never have any issues with my tabs being saved.
I've been getting this "crash report" upon closing FF for a very long time. Maybe a year? Hasn't been a big deal to me. It'll generally take a few seconds, maybe a minute, for the crash reporter to pop up after closing and I just close the window.
I've tried the "3-bar" menu option and clicking the "Exit" button. Still getting the same response.
Thank you all for the assistance!
Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear specific data when you close Firefox ? If that is the case, what items do you clear ?
This is a shutdown hang where Firefox takes too long to shutdown and a crash is enforced, so you can try to clear less data if you lose this feature.
I don't believe so. Wasn't aware of that option. Not very knowledgeable on all the features FF has.
I don't seem to have any settings activated that would clear any data. I do have some extensions running that I haven't really touched since installing FF...
