Well Don't uninstall and reinstall because if rarely does anything helpful, but is quite capable of messing things up worse. Next I suggest you post a screen shot of what you are seeing because really I have no idea what a "hung up screen" is or would look like. You apparently have a view on that being something as you say it is still present when you reinstall. The only things I can think of are; * You have undertaken a search and it has opened a new tab and you have not closed it * You have searched using quick search and the criteria is stil in the search bx so you are seeing no mail.
