Email that just disappear, Was in Inbox move to another folder just was deleted...no reason

Hi. This has happened twice now, messages were downloaded into Inbox, No Problem. Then were Printed, no problem. 4 messages needed to go to another folder, so highlighted and went to move. they just disappeared completely deleted not anywhere on the computer. Any Thoughts or idea's would be appreciated. And also the first time this happened all the mail from the inbox to be sent to other folders ended up in the SENT BOX ??? Plus there were emails from other folder as well. Thanks for any help. Regards Mr R.P.Hewison

Chosen solution

Thunderbird 91 will be out in a few weeks and it contains a significant fix for these missing moved mails. Until them I suggest you copy and delete once the mail is copied.
