my aol page on firefox suddenly appears in German and I cant figure out how to get it back to english

You can check the order of the preferred languages for websites.

If you use a bookmark to access a specific page then instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
