Mozilla VPN app hangs and leaves a VPN connected with no internet connection

I have Mozilla VPN on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. On all three of them, when I am on my Wifi network, when I try to connect, the app hangs and completely unresponsive. When I kill the app and launch it again, the VPN says it is connected, but that is no connection, and the internet does not work on the device.

And on my iPad, connecting through Raleigh via LTE from Austin, it's very slow.

I tried multiple different locations, and they all do the same thing. Is there some kind of setting in my eero setup which I need to toggle?
