Yesterday afternoon, I discovered that the logo on my website had gone missing. It was there a split second, then showed the "broken" icon, then was gone (resulting in the header and tagline being all crunched up).

Other images on my site seem okay. Then I went back to a Canva project that had been just fine yesterday morning, but all of those images are missing. Canva gives me an error message, but their support has been no help.

HOWEVER - this is not happening in Safari. And I don't believe it's a Canva problem. Random images in Facebook are also missing. I don't use Chrome, but again, not a problem in Safari -- everything is fine.

And when I use Firefox in "troubleshooting mode" the problem goes away. But the troubleshooting does not help me. I cannot tell what the "trouble maker" is.

PLEASE do not automatically insist I clear all cookies and forms, etc. It creates a huge headache for me (in Wordpress) to have to go back and start from scratch. I know it's a reflex to tell people that first, but I don't believe that will fix it and it will be a big pain for me, unless it's demonstrably the solution.

Thank you.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.
