SMTP username keeps changing

Hello,

I am a Dutch user of Thunderbird, for many years now. Last week I got update for Thunderbird and since then I have problems with SMTP username for 2 of my accounts. I have 3rd one but that one does not seem to be affected, so far. All accounts use same smpt server, outlook-mail, but also the 365 brings the same problems. Problem is that I got error : Er is een fout opgetreden bij het verzenden van e-mail. De mailserver antwoordde: 5.2.252 STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Cannot submit message. After search on internet I found out that the username for that account was wrong. I changed that to the right name (email address) after which it seemed to work again. But..., when trying to send email from the other address I got the same error message again! Learned a little from last time so I cahnged that username too, it was wrong also. To my desperation, now the first account had the wrong username again!! I tried to change that again but every time I cahnge one, the other one also changes. Tried to install Thunderbird over the old one, no effect. Don't know what will happen to my old emails when I uninstall and re-install Thunderbird? Bit weary for that? Searched the forums but even though I found some other appearances of "changing usenames", I could not get a solution of how to solve this permanently.
