Google Meet only showing blank white screen regardless of theme/plug-ins in use

i found this problem with firefox where whenever I'm in google meet, it only shows this blank white screen. at first i thought it was only a minor bug that'll be resolved quite quickly. but it has been over a month. and I'm curious on what could cause this to happen, since I really wanted to came back on using firefox as my default browser. I've tested this on Arch Linux, Manjaro 21, Pop OS 20.10, Fedora 34, and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed with the exact same behavior. any help would be much appreciated

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
